Chisel-Tipped Cigars

When you first see La Flor Dominican’s DL Chisel cigars no doubt they will make you look twice! La Flor Dominicana, always a leader in introducing cigars,
has definitely come up with a winner this time.

Produced with the sought after Ligero wrapper this cigar is full bodied and rich.  This famous cigar company has created an innovative shape along with a fabulous smoking experience with their newest introduction.

It appears to be a pyramid if viewed from the side but when you look straight down at it, you see the width of it.

Creatively named “The Chisel” it does resemble one too! The unique new shape of cigars is made with Sumatran-seed wrapper, grown in Ecuador. Rich, full bodied and flavorful!

Question we’re often asked.
“How do you cut it?”

Most aficionados prefer using a punch cut, going right through the top of the Chisel cigar, straight through to the bottom, and liked the smooth draw with that type “cut”.

It’s a hole cut right in the center of the head of the chisel about an inch down from where you would normally cut it using a guillotine cut.

The point of this method is that the smoke is delivered directly to your taste buds rather than hitting the back of your throat as you puff.

Others still prefer the old tried and true cutting off a small section of the tip.

Whichever way you choose it this interesting “Chisel” by La Flor Dominicana cigars is a great smoke and deserves its place in the Top 25 cigars for 2010.
